Massage therapy treatments are not recognized under Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP), however, many extended private health care plans do. Since every plan is different, please check with your personal manager or human resource manager for your plan coverage.
You may also require a note from your medical doctor for insurance coverage reimbursement. Only one medical note is required for the entire calendar or benefits year. In the case of massage for rehabilitation after a car accident, your motor vehicle accident insurance may cover massage therapy. |
